A Prayer For You

My dear,
I know
I have not yet met you

I know
That you
Are yet another mystery to me

Just know
That I already
Pray for you

Just know
That you exist at the forefront
Of my wildest dreams

You are already entwined in
All I have hoped for
All I’ve ever imagined

And so
I pray this prayer
Just for you

I pray that as you 
Grow grayer
And wiser

That the talons
Of your discernment
Remain sharp

That the wingspan
Of your love
Remains unclipped

That you may always remember
That the entirety of the universe
Exists within you.
