Perhaps We were too fast In falling in love. Foolish enough To love Like we are the other's homeland. Forgetting That a homeland can be stolen. Perhaps The stars Really did align for us. Fated enough That you could trace Constellations in the other's eyes. Forgetting That the world still moves around us. Perhaps Our souls were always meant To dip near each other. Perhaps One day They will part. Perhaps They will not And will remain Intertwined with each other I don't know What the universe Has in store for us. But I will never regret Loving you. In this life And the next I will choose you Again And again And again. In every life You hold a piece of my heart And I, yours. Just like a homeland I will always belong to you And you, me.
